Company Objectives

1. Identify hydro power project and get Government of Nepal (GoN) approval to conduct Feasibility Study (FS), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and prepare Detailed Project Report (DPR).
2. Obtain generation license from GoN to undertake hydropower generation and transmission projects. Execute Power Development Agreement with GoN and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with electricity off-taker.
3. Take existing or under-construction hydropower and electrical projects on long term lease and operate them.
4. Provide construction management and maintenance services to hydro electric and transmission companies.
5. Conduct electricity trading business by procuring power from suppliers and selling the same to consumers.
6. Engage in electro-mechanical and hydro-mechanical sales business.
7. Assist in technology transfer to Nepal through national and international meetings, seminars, conferences and workshops; R&D, Publications, national and international trainings and expert exchange programs.
8. Enter into joint venture with foreign companies to develop water resource, and or act as local agent for such companies.
9. Engage in other applications of water resources such as Drinking Water, Irrigation, Fisheries and animal husbandries, Recreation and entertainment, river navigation, watershed management and any other related activities.
